This report outlines an initiative in West Auckland with five Aoga Amata that
created a network of support linking available resources and the exhausted
faiaoga. We explored the conditions that enabled a Community of Care (CoC)
to develop in partnership with the Aoga Amata staff and aiga, enabling them
to address at least four of the focus areas for change identified in the Action
Plan for Pacific Education 2020–2030.
